I never got my hands on mag either but the depth of customization and the world is what makes dust better than cod or battlefield for me

That's the point. It's not another fps. It's something better. Even lacking customisable sights, maps, glitches balance and all
Its liked stokEd on xbox. It was a game that was released before it was finished. It went un-noticed and was passed on as a **** game that was mediocre at best
But it is the best snowboarding game ever created.
It went above and beyond like dust.
It implemented real snowfall that changed the way you rode the mountain. Not to mention you could ride everything in sight. Nothing linear like ssx and Shaun White that told u where to go and what to ride.
It was deep.
It didn't do the norm as well as the others did.
But it did everything better.

Also the devi did something horrible. Instead of finishing stokEd they backtracked and recreated it in a new iteration. Called stoked: big air edition. (Sound like legion a bit).
Sadly big air edition fell short of the origional.
Whenever I see a copy of the original stoked at gamestop I grab the copy. I have 3....
Fortunately as long as my xbox runs so will stokEd. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for dust514

Not everyone is a FPS enthusiast. People like myself and the OP are attracted to Dust because it's different from the other shooters, which often to us seem like mindless point-and-shoot games that promote war and violence. How do other FPS games 'promote war and violence,' and if they do, how is Dust, a game set in the EVE universe of all places, exempt from this?
Yeah I agree with you raptor but fps are inherently violet and kind of promote war so there is that.
But you are right most other shooters seem like mindless twitch killing

Check GameStop for used games even. Or some used game solution where ever you live at. Amazon has used games as well. As for fun, I am not playing much. I haven't logged onto dust in days. I might next week or so. If they have something that bumps SP then the odds are higher. Each skill increase I could focus on now takes nearly a million SP to get. That is a lot of grinding in this game. Weeks of effort when the bugs that make me just give up and play something else are still there with no fix in sight. Then there is the fact that the ISK payout has been so drastically cut since the first of the year it is difficult to make a profit. Being a mercenary means making a profit to me. If not then why play? Most games don't charge in game currency for tanks, fits and weapons. This one does and it commonly refuses to pay a living wage. Maybe next week. Depends on my friends being logged in. If they aren't then I don't even start dust. Not worth the time.
Not sad at all. I play plenty of fps. I just enjoy this on the most
